According to the government, 38 people in seven states including Tennessee have gotten sick from eggs that came from an Alabama poultry farm. According to the FDA they are linking people being sick from salmonella-tainted eggs from Gravel Ridge Farms located in Cullman, Alabama.
They issued a recall of the eggs last month and the FDA say that 10 people were in the hospital after contact with the cage-free eggs from the Gravel Ridge Farms.
Most of the illnesses have come from right here in Tennessee. 23 people have been affected in our state as well as Alabama, Ohio, Colorado, Iowa, Kentucky, and Montana.
The FDA did release a statement on the recall which you can see HERE!
