We all know first hand how cold it gets during these Winter months here in Nashville. They are miserably cold! One thing is though we don't have to really endure these cold conditions, we can just go inside and get warm, but what about our furry friends?
Yes, they have fur coats, BUT that's not going to keep them warm throughout the night. The sad thing about writing this is that there are dogs that are left outside day and night and have to endure these cold winter days and nights in Nashville.
One, state is deciding to do something about people leaving their dogs outside to endure these conditions.
Pennsylvania made it illegal to leave your dog outside for more than 30 mins during hot or cold temperatures. Also, with this law, the pets can't be tied up outdoors if it's colder than 32 degrees Fahrenheit or more than 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
If found breaking this law, the owner will have a pretty big fine + jail time that can last from half a year to a full year.
What are your thoughts on this? Should this law be passed all over America?
