Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus recently released their new collaboration, “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart,” and apparently that collab has been a long time in the making. During an appearance on “The Graham Norton Show,” Mark admitted that he sort of stalked Miley for he past four years to get her to agree.
Mark says he was blown away when he saw her perform on the “Saturday Night Live" 40th reunion special, so he decided to reach out to her. “I got her number; I don't know if it was legal or not," he said, adding, "I started texting her. I just said, 'Hey, if you ever want to make some music' ... four days went by, nothing."
Although it took Miley four years to agree to work together, she says she “wouldn’t have it any other way.” “Any time before this would have not been right, and any time after this would have been too far away," she said. "I think it's perfect timing with this song, at the time that it's out in the world."
