The Nashville Predators made history Sunday by winning in the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time in the team's history. They'll play the winner of the Anaheim Ducks/Edmonton Oilers series next.
But the world is discovering two things:
- This Nashville Predators team is special and has earned the praise.
- Our fans are like no other on earth
"This is United-Center-after-the-Hawks-win-the-cup loud" - NBC announcer in reference to the volume of @BrdgstoneArena— jess kelley (@itsJKtime) May 7, 2017
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ And remember, when they were loud, they won it all. And they were in an arena that holds 5,000 more people. So, our excitement for our team is AT LEAST as loud as the fans who've gotten more.
"Nashville is a hidden gem. The love they're showing that team, they have created very much a home ice advantage."— Jeremy K. Gover (@govertime) May 8, 2017

"Let's put a moratorium on 'non-traditional.' Forget that. In that city? It was deafening!"— Jeremy K. Gover (@govertime) May 8, 2017

And let's talk about entertainment. Holy crap we have the best music in the world, and we make them part of the game. Phil Vasser entertained between periods and Lady Antebellum absolutely slayed the anthem.
