While plenty of real disasters and crazy situations exist as a result of Hurricane Florence, this due got called out for faking it.! He pretends to brace himself in horrific winds, but then 2 casual people stroll by in the background taking cell phone video.

The Weather Channel has done some great stuff covering the hurricane, like this incredible simulation of storm surge that will make you need a change in underwear.
But then this guy pulls a stunt that should make all mimes proud.
A spokesperson for TWC told People magazine:
“It’s important to note that the two individuals in the background are walking on concrete, and Mike Seidel is trying to maintain his footing on wet grass, after reporting on-air until 1:00 a.m. ET this morning and is undoubtedly exhausted".
But former news anchor from MSNBC is calling out this excuse.
I’ve stood on wet grass and concrete while reporting from hurricanes. The Weather Channel defense of their reporter is utter bullsh*t. https://t.co/vvjGgh32qE— David Shuster (@DavidShuster) September 15, 2018
Their defense did not make him happy. But this tweet does make us happy. Kitty!
Many of you have seen the photo. Now here’s the story of a man and the kitten who clung to him, awaiting rescue from the floodwaters of Hurricane Florence in New Bern. #HurricaneFlorence2018 https://t.co/X8SqSvsyOm— Andrew Carter (@_andrewcarter) September 15, 2018
