They say Samsung is days away from showing off the folding smartphone it's had in development for years. But this new folding smartphone from Royole won the race. It's little bulky, but it becomes a freakin tablet when you open it! It's available in December for pre-order. We don't know how much it will be for the consumer version, but the developer version is around $1,300. which is slightly more than an iPhone X.

They say it's close to unbreakable and can stand being opened 200,000 times without a problem. It's called the FlexPai and it debuted in San Francisco.  Unfolded, it has a 7.8 inch screen. Here's some other techy specs:

  • 128GB of storage (expandable)
  • 6GB RAM (expandable to 8GB)
  • 2.8Ghz, eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor,
  • display is 1920 x 1440
