Positive Pants Story: Why 1 Man Rented Out 70 Hotel Rooms

When a tent city of homeless people in freezing Chicago had an emergency, an anonymous hero stepped up. The homeless tents were battling the cold with propane heating tanks. But one exploded (no one was hurt, thankfully), so the city had to remove all those heaters for safety purposes. But it left them with no way to fight off the polar vortex.

Their were 70 of them. Freezing.

That's when one anonymous (and amazing person) stepped up and paid for 70 hotel rooms for them to stay in. They'll be away from the cold. Have a warm bed. Showers. And security.

And he paid for the rooms for a week!

Don't know if you've paid for a hotel room in Chicago, but it ain't cheap.
