Pizza is a better way to start your day than cereal. That's what a nutritionist in New York is telling a very happy America.
But pump the brakes. She says don't eat pizza for breakfast.
So here's some knowledge nuggets to chew on. She says an average slice of pizza has an equal amount of calroies as a glass milk (really?!). But she says it's really more about how bad cereal is for you.
Chelsey Amer claims pizza has more fat, but less sugar than most cereals. She also says pizza beats Captain Crunch cuz it has more protein, which means pizza will hold your appetite down and not give you a crash from coming off a "sugar high."
But she comes back to the annoying message that you still shouldn't eat pizza for breakfast.
Amer says you should have greek yogurt instead.
So if we can't eat cereal for breakfast, let's at least laugh at it.
