A Clarksville man was apprehended by US Marshalls. They charged him with striking and dragging a Metro officer while illegally driving an ATV down Broadway. The Marshalls apprehended him in Clarksville.
Police say 30 yr old Walter Moses was driving in the group of ATV's driving wrecklessly in downtown Nashville this past weekend. They dropped 3 felony warrants (aggravated assault on a police officer, reckless endangerment and evading arrest) and 3 misdemeanors (leaving the scene of a personal injury collision, reckless driving, and driving on a revoked license). Moses was also arrested on an outstanding drug charge in Robertson County.
Police and videos show that Metro police officer John Bourque was struck and dragged by an ATV during the off road vehicles came storming through the streets of Nashville. Bourque was immediately taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center for his injuries. He came home since and has returned to light, limited duties.
