Kanye West's spiritual/musical 'Sunday Services' are getting compared to the worst music and arts festival in the history of humanity: Fyre Festival. Twitter was letting the world know how bad it was for the 'non-specials" that paid for food and VIP seating.
Remember the food at the Fyre Festival? (for some it was the only food they got for three days)
Sunday Service attendees were offered brunch at 5PM. (That's dinner)
The cost of the 'Brunchella" was $55. And the reviews were interesting.
The hashtag #YeezyFyreFestival was trending Sunday.
There were other Fyre Festival parallels. The service was free, but people paid to get in a special VIP area. The VIP area was the farthest point from the happenings people wanted to see.
And in typical Kanye style, he was 90 minutes late. But to help people stay in good spirits, the same 4 track playlist played on loudspeakers the entire time.
But Kanye had a great time.
