Well surprise, surprise. Billie Eilish was in Nashville Wednesday night for a secret show and only a select handful knew about. (That's why they call it a secret show, Jim) . The crowd was mostly hard core fans and industry peeps.
The invite-only show was at Jack White's Third Man Records downtown. According to The Tennessean, Eilish and Finneas O'Connell (her brother and collaborator) actually cut a live album with Jack White's direct to acetate disc old-school technology.
The show consisted of 11 songs, during which she laughed and stumbled a bit during "Bad Guy".
White brought Billie out saying Eillish is, "someone we really love, and we think is really innovative and inspiring."
Other songs included "Bury a Friend" and "I Love You", the latter getting a standing O. She told the crowd, "All I ask is we all try to be just happy we're alive, and happy that we're breathing. That we're here and we're safe. That's pretty much it, for us to all be grateful that we're here right now."
Some fans had some out-of-control fomo.
