The Mr. Peanut Super Bowl commercial featured the death of the monocled legume. But sadness was turned to joy as we were introduced to an adorable new character, the baby peanut. But a pop artist has created a painting that is downright creepy. It shows Mr. Peanut eating his own baby!

The Canadian artist Nina Matsumoto used the widely seen commercial for his latest piece. Art lovers were quick to point out that this piece is a riff on the famous (but equally horrific) work by famous Francisco Goya painting titled “Saturn Devouring His Son.”
