Luke Bryan got down on one knee at the Nashville Predators game Thursday night. But it wasn't to propose (he's married). He sang the national anthem on behalf of The Boyer Foundation, which helps kids with congenital heart defects. In 2017, Luke and his wife Caroline lost their niece Sadie Brett Boyer to complications of CHD. They set up the Brett Boyer Foundation in her honor.
2 of the CHD Warriors walked with Luke out onto the carpet prior to the Preds/Islanders game. When Luke realized the kids were so much shorter than him, he knelt down and did the anthem at their level. So yes, he was singing to over 17,000 fans, but he was really singing to these two adorable kids. Ugh, the feels are off the charts.
We weren't the only ones touched.
