Deadly Shooting in North Nashville Amid Tornado Recovery Efforts

The city of Nashville has been on edge since the devastating tornadoes on Tuesday -- and unfortunately, things were made even worse as rumors of an active shooter began to circulate on Twitter last night.

Apparently shots were fired near D.B. Todd Jr Blvd & St. Louis St around 6:35pm. Police say that one victim was grazed in the arm, while another later died from his injuries.

The Tennessean reports that authorities suspect two men were involved in the shooting, and that they left the scene in a white Malibu. One was described as tall, wearing a white shirt and tan pants, and the other suspect wearing a grey sweat shirt.

There was also [an unrelated] carjacking that took place later in the evening that killed one suspect.

Hopefully incidents like these will be kept to a minimum as recovery efforts continue.
