They say now that you should wear a mask anytime you go out in public. And it's not so much for your protection, as it is everyone else's. It keeps your spit and gunk mostly in your mouth, and not out into the air.
But masks are very hard to find these days. So if you want to make your own, and you don't know how to sew, Woody and Jim can help you out. You can make your own mask with things you find around the house. For material, the less porous the better. If you hold it up to a light, you shouldn't be able to see much shine through. We hear those blue shop towels in a roll are excellent.
This morning, Woody and Jim show listeners got a lesson in how to make your own mask with a microfiber towel and two rubber bands. Just remember, after you wear it, through it in the washer on hot.
We hope you are being safe. Keep your social distance. And if you make a mask, we hope it doesn't look like you're wearing a diaper (Woody's).
