Called Operation America Strong, the program will have the armed forces elite flying teams give inspirational flyovers among many US cities, and reports say Nashville is one of them. The flyovers would be an effort to salute America's medical workers for their work on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic. There has been no date confirmed. But it could be this coming week.
Cities designated for flyovers have not been confirmed, but sources have told USA Today that these are the assignments:
The US Navy Blue Angels with do formation maneuvers over:
Nashville
Miami
Tampa
Tallahassee and Jacksonville
Norfolk and Virginia Beach
Detroit
Chicago
Indianapolis
New Orleans
Kingsville and Corpus Christi, Texas.
The US Air Force Thunderbirds may fly over:
San Antonio
Oklahoma City
Phoenix
San Diego
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Portland
Seattle
