Summer County Sheriff's Deputy Jody McDowell was between assignments near the Nashville airport when he stopped for breakfast at Cracker Barrel for breakfast. After eating, he asked for the check when the waitress handed him a note instead.
The note was scribbled on notepad paper and it said, "BLM. But so does yours! Thanks for your service."
He wrote a note, "I want to thank the two sweet black ladies who paid for my breakfast this morning. While waiting for transport to be completed, I decided to have breakfast at a Cracker Barrel near the Nashville airport. I received this note from them."
And this is the story that's making us happy today with Woody & Jim Show on 107-5 The River.
