They shall call it the 'Battle of Evermore'.
A theme park owner in Utah is suing the pop star over trademark infringement. The theme park is called "Evermore" and they feel Taylor Swift has rendered their millions of dollars in branding investments useless after she named her recent album "Evermore".
The filing of the lawsuit said, “has invested approximately $37,000,000 into the creation and promotion of Evermore Park and the EVERMORE trademarks.”
The park's people also claim they have music sold under the Evermore name, “commissioned the creation of two original music scores that Evermore sells under the EVERMORE trademark through a variety of outlets, such as Apple Music.”
