"There's a monkey loose on aisle four"
A monkey got loose from its owner in Memphis, Tennessee on July 14 when the owner left it in a car with the window open a crack. Apparently, that was enough for the monkey to get free and roam the city. While the monkey was on the loose for a couple of days, the owner asked everyone to be on the lookout on Facebook. Soon, a worker at a clothing store noticed the primate jumping from rack to rack in the store and notified the owner where they were reunited.
While I don't know why in the world someone would let an animal stay in a car during the summer in Memphis Tennessee, I am glad they're back together. While not identified, the monkey appears to be a marmoset.
