Simone Biles is done at the Olympics in Tokyo.
She suffered an injury during a vault event when she landed awkwardly. She left the floor after receiving the lowest vault score of her career.
Multiple reports she is out from the US team competition at the games. Some say it is injury related. Others are saying she's having a mental health issue that is keeping her from competing. Her coach Cecile Landi, and the team doctor, Marcia Faustin talked with Simone Biles. She put on her grips for the uneven bars, but then walked off the floor.
"Simone Biles has withdrawn from the team final competition due to a medical issue. She will be assessed daily to determine medical clearance for future competitions," USA Gymnastics said in a statement.
Jordan Chiles, was subbed in. Later, Biles returned to the floor to hug her teammates.
