The race is 80 laps (173.6 miles). The mostly East Nashville course is an 11-turn, 2.17-mile street course with the paddock area being the parking lot of Nissan Stadium.
Early test rides have driver's most concentrating on the transition from pavement to concrete as they use the Korean Veteran Memorial Bridge to get across the Cumberland River.
