A passenger was arrested for masturbating 4 times on a Southwest Airlines flight from Seattle to Phoenix.
According to police reports, the incidents happened on Southwest flight 3814 on April 2, 2022. Antonio Sherrodd McGarity was arrested for performing the lewd act while sitting next to a female passenger.
The passenger took pics on her phone to prove to flight attendants what was happening. She waited until McGarity fell asleep and informed the flight crew. She was escorted to another part of the plane.
Phoenix police acquired the photos when the plane landed. He was then interviewed by the FBI when, according to the report, "McGarity said he thought it was kind of kinky. McGarity did not think the female witness was uncomfortable with him masturbating."
He's been charged with lewd, indecent, or obscene acts.
