There's a new Tequila bar coming to Nashville from restauranteur Sam Fox, the man behind restaurants in Music City like The Twelve Thirty Club and Blanco Cocina + Cantina. The bar will be called Pushing Daisies (because apparently, one of the translations of margarita in English is "daisy").
The concept bar is coming to Fith and Broadway and you'll have to go down a staircase to get to the non-descript doorway to get in. According to reports, once inside, it'll be like you've teleported to an old Spanish casa in the heart of Mexico City.
Fox told the Williamson Source, “Has anyone ever had a bad time while sipping a perfectly made margarita? I think that’s impossible. To prove it, we went all the way back to the beginning and guess what we found? Tequila has been the star of the show throughout history and its story proves that people have, and always will, love it. At Pushing Daisies, we hope to celebrate tequila and friendship, two things that will always go together.”
No word yet on how soon it'll open.
