The lawsuit against Nirvana by the grown man who was the baby on their famous album cover for Nevermind has been decided.
The lawsuit that alleged the infamous photo was child pornography has been tossed out of court. The lawsuit filed by plaintiff Spencer Elden was said to have gone past the statute of limitations (10 yrs) and summarily dismissed.
Elden is now 31. He was just a baby when his family was paid $200 to use his image. Earlier lawsuits Elden filed (child sexual exploitation because he was too young to make a decision on his photo) were also kicked out of court.
Since being an adult, Spencer Elden has seemingly contradicted what his lawsuit says by showing he's happy with the fame. He did his own recreations of the photo and also had "Nevermind" tattooed on his body.
