Early reports Thursday had the line at several miles long, with an estimated wait time for those in mourning to see the queen at 9 hrs. That was a long time ago and the line's end is now far, far away.
As of this writing (Friday morning) the line has been reported to be anywhere between 7-9 miles long!
In fact, the line was getting so long that a real-time line checking feed has been set up.
As of now, it's shut down. They're not letting anyone line up beyond who's there already. Apparently there is a royal official who stands at the end of the line to indicate where it starts. Can you imagine that person's job?
And think about their dedication to the Queen. Their service to the queen means... the more people that people want to see the Queen, the farther he gets from Elizabeth II.
