OMG! Wilson County residents are in for a treat! Imagine grabbing a delicious hot dog and soda for just $1.50 while shopping - that's what Costco is bringing to the City of Mt. Juliet! This is not just a rumor, guys! It's official! Costco has submitted plans to build a massive store for people east of Nashville!

The proposed plans include a whopping 160,057 square feet of retail space, 24 fuel stations, and a huge 34,920 square foot in-house delivery area. Woohoo! That's going to be massive, right? I'm already making a list of all the things I'm going to buy once the store opens!

But it's not just about us shoppers, guys. It's about the economy too! With Costco coming in, we're bound to get new customers visiting Mt. Juliet, which will boost our retail base and help our local businesses. And guess what? One-half of the local portion of our sales tax will go directly to our schools. So, it's a win-win situation for everyone!

The proposed location for the store is near I-40, on the southwest corner of the future intersection at Rutland Drive and Legacy Point Boulevard. While we don't know when the store will open yet, we can already start dreaming about all the amazing deals and discounts we'll get once Costco is up and running.
