Tennessee School Bus Driver Guilty of Negligent Homicide

Johnthony Walker, the driver of a Chattanooga school bus that crashed in 2016 resulting in the deaths of six elementary school children, has been found guilty on 27 counts, including six instances of negligent vehicular homicide.

An investigation revealed that Walker was speeding at the time of the crash with 37 Woodmore Elementary School children on board.

Sentencing has not taken place yet, but the negligent homicide charge could carry up to six years in prison.
