Tennessee Ranked 28th State for Quality of Life in New Study

A new study conducted by U.S. News & World Report found that Tennessee ranks the 28th state for overall quality of life.

While the volunteer state scored low in health-related factors -- such as public health (No. 43), mental health (No. 42), adult dental visits (No. 45) and overall health care (No. 43) -- it fared better in both natural (No.24) and social (No. 32) environments.

Political involvement, drinking water quality, and the air quality of each state were among other factors used to create the list.
