Nashville Area Schools Participate in National Walkout

On the 19th anniversary of the massacre at Columbine High School, students across the country walked out of class to memorialize the 13 victims. 

Several schools in Middle Tennessee made plans to participate, including:
-Hume-Fogg High School
-Martin Luther King Jr.
-Magnet High School
-University School of Nashville
-Belmont University
-Hillsboro High School
-Ravenwood High School
-Centennial High School
-Renaissance High School
-Page High School
-White House Heritage High School

In addition to 13 seconds of silence, a Town Hall was organized for students to discuss their ideas on school safety and ending gun violence with state legislators.
