Don't worry, that nasty smell in the air around Nashville isn't you. It's skunk-mating season!
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) warns us that skunk mating season is here and will probably last for a couple of months.
The average striped skunk can spray their nastiness about 10-15 feet...but the smell can travel for up to a mile. So if a lot of skunks spray...well...you get the idea.
So stop smelling your armpit...it's not you.
Or maybe it is. But blame it on the skunks anyway.
