Summer is starting to wind down but you still have some time left to explore the beautiful parks around Nashville!
One of them even boasts an 85 foot high waterfall that you can swim behind!
Cane Creek Cascades is just about 2 hours outside of Nashville and is a popular spot for both hikers AND swimmers - the pool at the bottom of the falls is perfect for swimming.
WARNING: Always be careful hiking around waterfalls especially if it recently rained. Trails can be slippery and water levels higher than normal. Also, there are no lifeguards on duty so always be extra careful swimming.
You can find the falls right behind the Fall Creek Falls State Park Nature Center! Visit the park's website here for parking details, current weather and any alerts.
