Did you know that Tennessee is 49th in the nation for voter turnout?
Yeah, it's pretty embarrassing.
And while the volunteer state does have particularly strict voter laws, that doesn't get you off the hook. [I'm looking at you! In 2016, only 22% of eligible Tennesseans cast their vote in the election, and a mere 10% of eligible women between the ages of 18-29 participated. We have got to do better.]
Now having hopefully motivated you into action, today [Monday, Feb. 3, 2020] is the last day that you can register to vote in Tennessee's presidential primary.
If you're concerned about knowing where to go or not knowing what you need, don't stress.
Registering is easy and literally takes one minute -- because you can do it online. So get to it. Then tell all your friends.
