Everybody is freaking the frick out about COVID-19, so it goes without saying that when Tom Hanks announced he and Rita [his wife] had it, the world let out a collective gasp.
Not long after the announcement, Chet Hanks took to Instagram to try and calm some of the anxiety about his parents' condition.
"I just got off the phone with them. They both are fine. They're not even that sick. They're not worried about it. They're not trippin', but they're going through the necessary health precautions, obviously," he said.
It's good to get some reassurance, but we'll still be praying for a speedy recovery!
