I must now interrupt your current-quarantine-vibe to inform you about the most ~*oH mY GoD*~ social media interaction of the year so far.
You see, it all started when Britney Spears posted a video of herself dancing to Justin Timberlake's Filthy, acknowledged their breakup, and called him a genius all at the same time.
"I know we had one of the world's biggest breakups 20 years ago...but hey, the man is a genius!!!!" Britney wrote in the Instagram caption.
.....and that totally would have been enough to make me squeal with delight, but then JT commented!!!!
Twitter is, understandably, ablaze.
Since the last few weeks have brought us all kinds of rEuNiOn news [a la One Direction's 10-year-anniversary project & the cast of High School Musical participating in an ABC singalong], I can't help but hope that Britney & Justin use this unique moment to collab on new music. Can you imagine?!
