PHOTOS: Tens of Thousands Attend Nashville's Black Lives Matter Protest

Tens of thousands of people came together to say that Black Lives Matter at a peaceful protest in Nashville Thursday afternoon. The event was organized by a group of teenage girls -- Zee, Jade, Nya, Emma Rose, Kennedy, and Mikayala -- who together formed the Teens 4 Equality coalition. [Kids give me hope. Seriously. The youth of this country are going to save us.]

The crowd -- made up of people of every age and race -- marched from Bicentennial Mall to the National Museum of African American Music on Broadway to the state capitol, occasionally stopping to chant, sing, and kneel in the street.
