Tennessee State Fair Canceled For First Time Ever

Chalk another cancellation up to coronavirus.

For the first time in its 150-year history, the Tennessee State Fair will not be opening in 2020. Fair manager Scott Jones says "we're just doing what we believe is in the best interest of the health and well being of those who walk through our gates each year."

There could be some pop-up events, such as contests and exhibits, but no plans are announced as of now. The Williamson County and Wilson County Fairs both already announced their cancellations in recent days as well. Will your family miss The Fair this year?
