The Dixie Chicks are the first country group after Lady A [formerly Lady Antebellum] to change their name out of respect for the Black community following nationwide protests against white supremacy.
The Chicks announced their name change with a powerful music video for their new song, March March. It features footage from civil rights movements past and present, along with the names of Black people who lost their lives in incidents of police brutality.
