Many districts in Tennessee are officially back to school. A number of those school have chosen to open its doors physically. But less than three weeks of opening, they are having to close their doors because of COVID-19 exposure. Three school districts, including Coffee County Schools, Williamson County Schools and Blount County Schools, have closed or altered their schedules as a result of exposures to the virus.
Governor Bill Lee said his administration is in the process of creating a plan that would allow schools to share information about the number of COVID-19 cases in their facilities.
