The idea of reopening bars is becoming a strong possibility in Music City. Some council members are discussing closing off Broadway and possibly other parts of the city traffic. This would make sure there's enough room for customers to practice social distancing while going to different businesses and restaurants.
They are looking to designate Lower Broadway as a "Special Event Zone." This will be similar to Metro's New Year's Eve celebration or other large events downtown.
