George Floyd is still someone that should be remembered. George Floyd's family is asking people to "be the change' as a way to pay respect to George Floyd. Floyd's brothers, Rodney and Philonise asked Houston artist, Ange, to paint a mural of George. Ange had presented a piece of artworkd to the family after George Floyd's funeral.
The mural will be located on the side of a Houston convenience store where George would often go. It will be accompanied by the message, "Be The Change," which the brother's hope will inspire people. The mural will be completed Wednesday, October 14, on George's birthday.
