A lot of the big Disney movie releases for the next two years have been pushed back.
Specific reasons were not given, but one can assume the delays probably have to do with new COVID protocols and the impact COVID has had on the industry as a whole.
The new dates are as follows:
- Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: May 6, 2022 (previously dated on March 25, 2022)
- Thor: Love and Thunder: July 8, 2022 (previously dated on May 6, 2022)
- Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: Nov. 11, 2022 (previously dated on July 8, 2022)
- The Marvels: Feb. 17, 2023 (previously dated on Nov. 11, 2022)
- Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania: July 28, 2023 (previously dated on Feb. 27, 2023)
The next Avatar movie is still expected to release at the end of 2022.
