Starbucks has announce they will raise their prices again this year.
This is now the third time they have decided to raise their prices since October of last year. The company said supply chain issues and and inflation have heavily impacted them in the last year, which has lead to the changes in pricing. The strange part is that Starbucks said revenue in the most recent quarter jumped 19% to $8.1 billion.
They have yet to say what the price hike will be, but to give you an idea of where it's going... a Venti cup of coffee was $2.45 in 2021 and the same cup of coffee in some locations is now $2.95. That's a 20-percent increase.
