Nashville's First Cat Cafe Opens This Week!

There is a cat cafe  opening it's doors this week in Nashville!

I feel like this is the PURRRRFECT **see what i did there** place for people who love animals but aren't entirely responsible enough to own them! They can go, grab a coffee/muffin and get some quality time with these cats without the responsibility of changing their litter box!

PS, how adorable is the name.... MEWSIC KITTY CAFE!!

It opens this Saturday, April 28!

Cafe owners Maegan and Thien Phan have partnered with local non-profit Nashville Cat Rescue, with plans to host up to 15 cats at a time that will live on property until adopted or up to three weeks before going back to foster care. All adoption fees will go directly back to the rescue group.

Mewsic Kitty Cafe will take reservations and charge for its play dates, starting at $12 an hour for regular ‘meet and greets,’ with prices increasing for special events such as yoga.

You can get everything from a  self-serve coffee bar featuring Bongo Java, Switter’s iced coffee, kombucha, tea, to pastries from The Wild Muffin!

Initial hours will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
