Earlier this week, Vanderbilt University moved all of their classes online for the rest of the spring semester, and asked students living on-campus to be moved out by the end of the week.
While other area schools haven't yet taken those measures - Belmont and MTSU both extended Spring Break a week and moved to online learning until April - the move to get students off campus could take place at any moment.
Of course, the big issue at hand is that students from out-of-state may not be able to get everything from their dorms back home immediately. If that applies to you, U-Haul is offering free self-storage for up to 30 days to college students forced to move out because of COVID-19.
To take advantage of the offer, the student must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's license, and have a valid college ID.
Go to www.uhaul.com/storage for more details and to find a location that's convenient to you.
