YouTuber Intentionally Gets Stung By A Murder Hornet

As if 2020 wasn't weird and terrible enough already, just a few days ago a news story broke that a potentially deadly insect - the Asian Giant Hornet - had been spotted in parts along the West Coast of the U.S.

The hornet, lovingly nicknamed the "murder hornet", earned it's name from attacking honeybee hives, decapitating the bees, and bringing the thoraxes back to feed their young. While it's not known to be particularly lethal to humans, it does cause an immensely painful sting and has caused deadly reactions from time to time.

Well, a YouTuber named Coyote Peterson apparently let himself be STUNG BY A MURDER HORNET. FOR FUN.

It's actually this dude's claim to fame. He's made a living getting stung by creatures like the executioner wasp, the tarantula hawk, and the bullet ant over the years.

To be fair, this video was actually shot in 2018, but it's going viral now because of the news that the Giant Asian Hornets may not just be in Asia anymore.

I'm now incredibly uncomfortable, will never sleep again, and will blanket my house with a net of bugspray. Eek.

What would you do if you saw one of these bad boys in your yard?
