Weird Things That are Illegal in Tennessee

Some laws really make you wonder what weird event had to happen for them to be put in place! Let's take a look at some of the oddest things that Tennessee has had to ban!

It's illegal to dare a child to purchase alcohol.

(This is obviously for the best, but who was out there daring kids to go buy a beer?!)

Anyone who participates in a duel cannot hold any public office in the state.

(Sorry, Harry Potter)

It's illegal to share your Netflix password.

(Okay, so I feel like the whole country is guilty of that!)

Skunks may not be carried into the state.

(Apparently this law was to prevent rabies from entering the state...skunks are allowed to travel on their own free will though)

No hand holding at school!

(Apparently it's a gateway to other risque behavior)

You can't play pinball if you're under 18 years old.

It's illegal to rollerskate while listening to a personal CD player.

(Well I DEFINITELY would have been arrested for this in 2004)
