City in China Models Itself After Nashville

Chengdu, a city in China, is investing millions of dollars to make their city more like Nashville. They have been meeting with music industry executives to try and build a music-fueled district called the Chengdu Musical Fun district.

There will be venues, office buildings, publishing companies and recording studios and will include incentives for companies to put up shop.

Back in December, Chengdu hosted multiple Nashville music industry executives to give insight to the project.
