I bet you didn't know that in addition to being a killer musician, John Mayer is also a great makeup artist. He did a detailed makeup tutorial (with amazing commentary) and showed Instagram how to do a smoky eye with a Chanel palette he had laying around.
He actually did a pretty good job (although he used the sponge applicators) and people on social media are loving it!
