James Shaw Jr is teaming up with I Believe in Nashville to create a t-shirt designed with his fist that says "I Believe in Heroism." All proceeds from the shirt sales will go to the Waffle House shooting victims and their families. Brantley Gilbert and Dashboard Confessional will both be selling the shirts on their tours, including their dates in Nashville.
At the campaign announcement, Shaw said:
"When you think of a hero you think of Batman or Superman or something like that or Wonder woman or something like that and they are fictional characters, but if I say that a regular guy took a gun from somebody I hope that you can find that fire, that same fire within yourself that you can possibly emulate that and that anybody can be a hero so I don't want this to seem like you know it's not real, because if I did you all can do it."
