Shridhar Chillal from Pune, India, held the record for the longest fingernails ever on a single hand. He just recently cut them at Ripley's Believe It or Not! in New York City's Times Square after growing them out for 66 years.
The combined length of all 5 of his fingernails on his left hand was 29 feet. THAT'S WILD!
Due to the weight of his nails, his left hand is permanently handicapped and he had to take special precautions when sleeping, due to the nails being so fragile. He worked as a photographer using only his right hand and had a special handle created to accommodate his nails!
